Description

Recipe for a delicious chocolate glazed carrot cake. Perfect for tea time.

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Prepare the pan by spraying with making spray or buttering and lightly flouring.
  2. Using a blender blend the oil, the eggs and the diced carrots for 1 minute.
  3. Add the suggar to the mix and keep blending for more 4 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl add the flour, the baking soda and the blended mix. Whisk through to combine well.
  5. Pour the cake batter in the pan. Bake it for 40 minutes.
  6. In a pan mix the condensed milk, the butter and the cocoa powder cooking in low temperature, mixing all the time, till get a shining dark oozing glaze.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Glaze the cake with the chocolate glaze.
